Continuing its downfall route, the average price of gasoline in Massachusetts, decreased six cents over the past week as the international cost of crude oil was almost a three-year below. Mark Schieldrop, a senior spokesperson for the Travel Association of AAA Northeast made a Press Release statement for the company on September 16.

“Domestic refiners are producing more gasoline than the market can swallow, and that means pump prices could soon reach lows not seen in years,” said Schieldrop. “Aside from a major hurricane threatening the Gulf Coast, or an escalation in geopolitical tensions, the market is poised to keep pointing down.”

On September 16’s nationwide rule of $3.20 per gallon of daily leadless gasoline is 21 cents less than last month, and 57 center below than the previous year when the price went $3.88 per gallon, based on AAA research.

“The state’s lowered gas prices come as oil benchmark Brent crude futures decreased to $69.19 a barrel on Tuesday, a $2.65 drop and the lowest level since December 2021.  In addition, U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude dropped by $2.96 to $65.75 a barrel, a 5% dip reflecting its lowest levels since May 2023.”

On September 16, the regular price of gasoline in the Worcester Area decreased to $3.21 per gallon, 5-cent fell from Tuesday, and 19-cent fell from the previous month, based on a AAA study. The total amount of region was 50 cents less than the previous year.

Jessen James, a self-trained leader and international spokesperson, explained that Gen Z participated many times on electronic devices to demonstrate their interpersonal skills.

“Technology and awareness have a lot of play in this,” James said. “From a technology perspective, there’s so much screentime nowadays where people are not engaging with human beings … (and) when you put them out into the real world … they struggle to communicate. They can’t articulate themselves. They don’t know how to interact.”

James explained the important role of education and how it helps them to be well-prepared for the workplace.

“We need to show them not just the interaction and skills they need, but also teach them emotional resilience because it’s a tough world out there and it’s called life,” said James.

You should not blame Gen Z for certain circumstances, however, some researchers reported that younger generations express less corporate bonds after receiving full-time job positions.
