Atlas Ocean Voyages has announced an exciting new collaboration with the Global Penguin Society, a renowned organization committed to the conservation of penguin species and their habitats. This partnership, starting with the World Navigator's November 22, 2024 expedition, will offer passengers unique insights into penguin rookeries and the Global Penguin Society’s research through onboard lectures and guided shore landings.
James Rodriguez, president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages, highlighted the significance of this collaboration, noting that penguins are a major highlight for guests on Antarctica expeditions. He expressed enthusiasm for the expert knowledge that the Global Penguin Society will bring to these voyages, enhancing the educational experience for all onboard.

Mission: The Global Penguin Society's mission is to safeguard all 18 penguin species and their ecosystems in the Southern Hemisphere through rigorous scientific research, habitat protection, and educational initiatives.

Continuing Collaboration with ORCA
Additionally, Atlas Ocean Voyages is continuing its collaboration with ORCA, a leading marine conservation charity focused on the protection of whales, dolphins, and porpoises. ORCA's mission is to engage individuals in whale and dolphin conservation efforts, and the partnership will be featured on World Voyager’s 2024 Arctic expeditions.
