Danielle Moore, the lead vocalist of the British electronic band Crazy P, has passed away at the age of 52. The band announced the "unbelievable and shocking news" via Instagram, expressing their deep sorrow and disbelief over her sudden and tragic death.

The statement from Crazy P did not specify the cause of Moore's death but highlighted her life, which was dedicated to love, compassion, community, and music. The band expressed their profound grief and the need for time to process the loss, noting how much she gave to them and how dearly she will be missed.

Moore joined Crazy P in 2002, contributing to the release of seven studio albums with the band. The group had recently toured with Róisín Murphy, who paid tribute to Moore on social media. Murphy described Moore as "an amazing person and an amazing singer, performer, and songwriter," acknowledging the widespread sense of loss in their community. Murphy shared a photo of them together and extended condolences to Moore's friends and family.

Ed Potton of The Times previously characterized Crazy P's music as a "tight blend of funk, house, and disco," praising Moore as a frontwoman with "the voice of a soul diva, the moves of a burlesque dancer, and the wit of a nightclub compere."
