The latest WWE Raw saw Drew McIntyre go all out in a brutal attack on former WWE Champion CM Punk, which eventually saw him hospitalized. McIntyre had just lost to the same Punk a few weeks ago in Bash in Berlin, where the latter emerged victorious.
Following his victory, CM Punk celebrated in the ring and quickly reissued his challenge to Gunther, just as he did in Berlin. This celebration did not last long, though, as Drew McIntyre got into the ring and brutally attacked the Second City Saint.
McIntyre wouldn't stop as he kept Claymore Kicking the temple two, three times, and Punk was wheezing. McIntyre also took a symbolic rip-off of the bracelet from Punk's wrist, snapped it in half, and stuffed the beads into his mouth before delivering another devastating Claymore; he left him helpless, bleeding from the mouth.
Things started to go out of hand as, after getting stretchered out into an ambulance, McIntyre attacked him again. The Scottish Warrior went on a flurry of punches onto a helpless Punk, further injuring him before security and WWE official Adam Pearce managed to intervene.
There has been no update regarding the condition of CM Punk since the incident, only leaving speculations for a final encounter between the two.
