The London College of Fashion (LCF), a part of the University of the Arts London (UAL), has commenced its annual celebration of undergraduate talent, spotlighting the Class of 2024 through a series of events. The festivities began with an exclusive runway show featuring designs from 128 students enrolled in the BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Menswear and Womenswear courses.

Held last week, the event attracted a distinguished audience of industry professionals and influencers, reaffirming LCF's status as a global leader in fashion education. Attendees included sustainability advocates, performers, and prominent fashion media figures.

Andrew Teverson, Pro Vice Chancellor and Head of LCF, highlighted the institution's dedication to shaping the future of fashion through innovative design with a strong emphasis on sustainability and inclusivity. These themes were prominently showcased during the event, reflecting LCF's commitment to addressing the changing needs of the industry and society.

The celebrations continued with live presentations of work from various specialized courses, including the UK's sole BA (Hons) Bespoke Tailoring program. Hosted at Protein Studios in east London, these events underscored LCF's diverse technical design pathways and paid tribute to its origins as a network of London trade schools.

From July 17 ,24, LCF will host an exhibition at its new East Bank campus in Stratford, inviting the public and industry professionals to explore a wider array of the college's creative disciplines. This move to east London signifies a pivotal moment in LCF's history, aligning with the area's ongoing regeneration.

The LCF Undergraduate Class of 2024 program, which is free and open to the public, is a major event in the fashion calendar, offering a preview of future design trends and the next wave of creative talent. As the fashion industry faces ongoing challenges regarding sustainability and inclusivity, the work of these graduates could offer valuable insights and potential solutions for the sector.
