England's Path to Qualification
England had kept their hopes alive by defeating Namibia in a rain affected match in Antigua on Saturday. However, their progression depended on Australia's performance against Scotland the following day. Had Scotland won, they would have advanced instead of England.

Scotland set a formidable target, scoring 180-5, capitalizing on six dropped catches by Australia. Brandon McMullen led with 60 runs off 34 balls, including six sixes, while captain Richie Berrington added an unbeaten 42 off 31 balls. Despite these efforts, Scotland fell just short of victory.
Australia's Tense Chase
Australia faced early setbacks, with David Warner (1), Mitchell Marsh (8), and Glenn Maxwell (11) falling cheaply. However, Travis Head and Marcus Stoinis mounted a strong recovery.
