For the first time, Danish fashion brand Ganni will showcase its collection outside of Denmark, debuting at Paris Fashion Week. Having led Copenhagen Fashion Week for nearly a decade, this move to Paris represents a significant step in the brand's expansion as it seeks to further promote its commitment to "more responsible, inclusive, and joyful fashion."
CEO Laura du Rusquec expressed that Ganni’s global presence has been firmly established, and as the brand enters its next phase of growth, presenting in Paris is a natural progression in elevating its brand recognition. She emphasized that Paris provides a unique global stage, making it an ideal setting to unveil Ganni’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection while also demonstrating the brand's ongoing dedication to responsibility in fashion.
This development follows Ganni’s decision to close its UK headquarters, shifting its focus to Paris as a global base. The company's new CEO, Laura du Rusquec, who took on the role in May, operates from the French capital, with the brand also maintaining regional offices in New York and Shanghai.
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Ganni opted to skip its usual runway show at CPHFW, instead hosting an exhibition centered on innovative materials and supporting emerging creatives through its new platform, Fabrics of the Future. With its return to the runway set for September 24 under creative director Ditte Reffstrup, Ganni’s participation in Paris Fashion Week will be a landmark event, marking the brand's reentry into the runway format after presenting its SS24 collection.
