Gordon Ramsay is set to embark on his first project with Netflix, starring in a new docuseries that will capture his journey as he prepares to open a series of culinary experiences in London’s 22 Bishopsgate, the city’s second-tallest building. The series, titled Being Gordon Ramsay, will offer an intimate look at Ramsay’s life, showcasing how he balances his demanding professional career with his family life. The cameras will also provide rare access to his wife, Tana Ramsay, and their family.
The docuseries, produced by Studio Ramsay Global, will be filmed over nine months and directed by Dionne Bromfield. Executive producers for the series include Amanda Westwood, Deborah Sargeant, and Lisa Edwards, with Jess Holder serving as the production executive. While Netflix has yet to announce an official premiere date, Ramsay’s new culinary venture is slated to open in February 2025.
Netflix revealed the project at the Edinburgh TV Festival on Wednesday, where they also announced another high-profile partnership with Victoria Beckham. The fashion icon has signed a deal with the streaming giant to create a documentary series focused on her fashion and beauty brands. Produced by Studio 99, David Beckham’s production company, alongside Dorothy Street Pictures, the series will chronicle Victoria Beckham’s transformation into the Creative Director of her own brand.
Netflix described the series as a deep dive into Beckham’s reinvention, exploring her journey in building a successful fashion empire. The announcement follows the success of last year’s Beckham docuseries, which received Emmy nominations and resonated strongly with subscribers.
The Edinburgh TV Festival, where these exciting new projects were unveiled, will conclude on Friday.
