BTS' producer Pdogg and creative director LoneTone recently took to their Instagram accounts to unveil the newly adorned exterior of HYBE headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul. The building now proudly features the inscription "APOBANGPO," a term coined by BTS member Jungkook to symbolize the enduring bond between the group and its dedicated fanbase, known as ARMY. This transformation comes as a special surprise for fans ahead of BTS' eldest member Jin's return from military service on June 12.

Originally suggested by BTS leader RM during FESTA 2023 as a meaningful gesture to fans worldwide, the decision to inscribe "APOBANGPO" on the building's exterior was warmly welcomed by both the group and HYBE. The completion of this project, scheduled for June 30, coincides with BTS' 11th debut anniversary on June 13, marking a collaborative effort between HYBE subsidiary BIGHIT MUSIC and BTS members.

The significance of this gesture is amplified by the fact that, aside from Jin, other BTS members are unable to attend FESTA 2024 in person due to their military enlistment. However, their collective effort in realizing RM's vision reflects the deep appreciation and affection shared between BTS and ARMY.

Jin's anticipated return on June 12 will be celebrated by all BTS members, who will take leave from their army duties to reunite and welcome him back home. This reunion will be followed by an in person light hug event on June 13, commemorating the group's 11th debut anniversary.

In addition to these festivities, BTS continues their tradition of releasing a FESTA song to mark their debut anniversary. This year, Jungkook unveiled "Never Let Go," a lively, self composed track dedicated to ARMYs, underscoring the enduring connection between BTS and their global fanbase.
