Jennie Kim of Blackpink has ventured into a new realm as she transitions into her "runway model era," adding another accomplishment to her already impressive list of roles including singer, rapper, actor, performer, and CEO.

The K pop idol made her official debut as a runway model on June 10, showcasing her poise and talent at Jacquemus' "La Casa" cruise show, a highlight event celebrating the brand's 15 year anniversary. Against the stunning backdrop of a cliffside sea view on Capri's Italian island, Jennie captivated the audience with her striking presence, closing the show in a backless, sleeveless black midi dress complemented by Jacquemus' turquoise Le Rond Carre bag.

Jennie's involvement with Jacquemus wasn't entirely unexpected, as she has previously attended their shows and was teased on social media by the brand leading up to the event. Her cryptic Instagram posts sparked speculation about her role with the brand, with fans eagerly anticipating her official participation.

This isn't Jennie's first foray into the world of fashion, as she has previously fronted campaigns for renowned brands such as Chanel, Calvin Klein, and Gentle Monster. Her longstanding relationship with Chanel, in particular, has earned her the endearing nickname "Human Chanel" among her fans, a title solidified by her memorable appearance at the 2023 Met Gala in a vintage Chanel dress.

Jennie's seamless transition from music to modeling further cements her status as a multifaceted talent, poised to leave her mark on the fashion industry as she has in the world of music.
