JoJo decided to put on her writing material, however, besides being creative on her chart-topping break anthems including “Leave (Get Out)”, the 33-year old has legitimized her own personal story. JoJo’s new memoir, “Over the Influence’ released on September 17, 2024.

On October 21, Billboard’s Tetris Kelly spoke with the powerhouse singer about her "New York Times Bestselling memoir". Billboard collaborated with TalkShopLive to provide autographed copies of “Over the Influence”. JoJo stated an interview about her new memoir.

“I thought my path would’ve been a lot different than it has been, and I probably didn’t think that I’d be writing a memoir at this point in my life and career, but I will say that as I approached 20 years of my debut album being released, I wanted to start to make sense of some of the things that had confused me for such a long time,” said JoJo. “To thread the needle and see how the hell did I get here? What can I take away from it to hopefully evolve and what can I share with the next generation?”
