In Jordan Chiles’ public response since the day she was taken away from the Bronze Medal, she was featured to have properly earned it. An Olympic gymnast reported on Wednesday, September 11 that she is looking for peace and justice.

Chiles stated at the Forbes Power Women’s Summit in New York City that the problem no matter the wrangled metal became an emotional rollercoaster. Her voice was filled with empathy, strengthening her into a 14-second obstruct to formulate herself.

"The biggest thing that was taken from me was," said Chiles, "The recognition of who I was, not just my sport, but the person I am.”

The 23-year-old explained at the Press Conference that she had to suffer, frequently her independence, and harsh criticism on the internet, in the opening of the international debate.

“At this rate, it’s not really about the medal; it’s about my peace and my justice,” said Chiles. “It’s about my skin color. It’s about how I felt there weren’t a lot of people supporting me who I thought could support me.”

Chiles completed fifth place on the floor exercise before Coach Cecile Landi had witnessed that the judges made an error in the evidence of complex that concentrated on her athletic performance.

Consequently, the incorrect score was changed, and Chiles made it the third place and received a bronze medal.

Romanian sports authorities thunderously demonstrated, and on the final day of the Olympic Games, the International Olympic Committee explained that it would be forbidden by a Court of Arbitration for Sport conquering that the Landi filed a complaint 64 seconds after scores were being announced.

The deadline lasted for one minute.

The bronze medal was later received by an 18-year-old Romanian gymnast, Ana Bărbosu

Regardless of the setback, Chiles received her team gold medal from the Paris Olympics early summer, and a bronze medal from Tokyo in 2021.

Chiles grew up with biracial parents, her father is African-American, and her mother is Latina. She explained that she is doing the best that she can to handle cyberbullying since the explosion of controversy.

"I am a two-time Olympic champion, I am a two-time Olympian, I am a world champion. I am all those things," Chiles said. "No matter what, I'm always going to have those accolades with me and I'm going to continue to shine bright in the ways that I'm going to shine bright, because the star is never going to get dimmed.
