Wrestling's Biggest Event Could Make its First Appearance Outside North America

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has reiterated his commitment to bring WWE's WrestleMania to the UK capital, following discussions with WWE's chief content officer, Paul "Triple H" Levesque. Khan first expressed his ambition to host the iconic wrestling event in London before his re-election, aiming to strengthen the city's reputation as a global sports hub.

After their meeting at City Hall, Khan said he was "excited" about the possibility of WrestleMania making its debut in London, noting the strong demand from British, European, and global fans to experience the event live. WrestleMania, WWE's flagship show, has historically taken place exclusively in North America, but recent global expansion efforts have seen WWE's premium live events in international cities such as Cardiff, Glasgow, and Berlin.

Levesque, a 14-time world champion, echoed Khan's enthusiasm, highlighting the passionate fanbase in London. He emphasized WWE's growing global reach and hinted at further international shows beyond the US. While next year's WrestleMania is scheduled for Las Vegas, the earliest London could host the event would be 2026.
