Shakira received “Best Latin Pop Album” at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The Colombian songstress took this award category for “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” – Women No Longer Cry to beat out with other Latin acts — Anitta (“Funk Generations”), Kali Uchis (“Orquídeas” – Orchid”), Kany García (“García”), Luis Fonsi (“El Viaje” – The Trip).
Jennifer Lopez presented this award category. Shakira wanted to spread the message in her speech – “I want to dedicate this award to all my immigrant brothers and sisters in this country. You are loved; you are worth it; and I will always fight with you. And, to all of those women who work really hard every day to provide for their families, you are the true She-Wolves, so this is for you, too.”
Shakira won her third award category around 24 years ago (In addition to Shakira’s “MTV Unplugged” in 2001), and her fourth Grammy achievement in her music career.
