Springfield, Ohio – After several days of bomb threats to city buildings, schools, and hospitals, Springfield officials discontinued its annual CultureFest celebration due to safety reasons. City Manager, Bryan Heck, addressed the issue.

“We deeply regret canceling CultureFest, as we know it is a beloved event for our community,” said Heck. “However, the safety of our residents and visitors must come first.”

CultureFest was arranged for September 27 – 28 and is an annual combining embracing diversity, arts, and culture, on the city report.

In a conference with local and state law enforcement, officials committed to canceling the occasion as the “most responsible course of action,” to protect attendees, vendors, volunteers, and staff for their safety. The City of Springfield made a statement on social media.

“We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time,” said the city. “We remain dedicated to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.”

This kind of incident occurred early last week on the following unproofed claim that was posted on social media, attacking Haitian immigrants in the towns who were murdering and feeding people’s pets.

These assertions were addressed by political figures such as JD Vance, and former President Donald Trump, who preferred it as an example in last week’s presidential debate ambushed Kamala Harris.
