No sooner had Gucci's Spring 2025 show wrapped up than creative director Sabato De Sarno reunited his muses and showgoers alike for a colorful after-party. The party was thrown at Horto, an upscale Milanese restaurant with a spectacular rooftop view of the Duomo di Milano, just a few steps away from the show's venue, the Triennale di Milano, celebrated as the city's museum of Art and Design and nestled in Parco Sempione.
The after-party wasn't an exception, as most of the guests shed their catwalk outfits for more casual getups with style. Debbie Harry exchanged her pencil skirt and leather jacket look for a sporty track suit, putting an F1 spin on it, while Daisy Edgar-Jones shed the oversized denim after turning heads earlier in a semi-sheer micro-short. Dakota Johnson swapped hers out for a pair of jeans, which she paired with a sleek black leather jacket.
De Sarno's Spring 2025 collection took its cue from the "casual grandeur" of Jackie Kennedy, which tonight seemed to translate as an effortlessly glamorous vibe. Gucci's guests had traded in their carefully curated looks for something a bit more laid-back-proof that nothing is more chic than casual elegance.
With Sabrina Carpenter's "Freedom" and hits from The Strokes blaring courtesy of DJ Alix Brown, the party was most definitely in full swing. Dakota Johnson and Gabriette were seen talking, and actors Julia Garner, Nicola Coughlan, and Jessica Chastain sat around a table, seemingly enjoying each other's company. Also in attendance was Solange, posing for photos with Debbie Harry and De Sarno. Chef Niederkofler's hyper-local dishes-made with ingredients sourced within an hour of the restaurant-were passed around throughout the night to. The tennis star Jannik Sinner spent much of the night chatting with the Michelin-starred kitchen team.
As the night wore on, so did De Sarno, who joined his guests in celebratory shots. He has much to celebrate-nearly a year has passed since his first collection for Gucci, and with his latest Spring 2025 show, he had earned a new crop of fans. The evening was indeed a reflection of the festive spirit of De Sarno's success. Cheers to that!
