Target to Launch Exclusive Cuddle Collab Pet Apparel Collection

Target Corporation (TGT) officially announced the upcoming launch of its exclusive pet and pet-owner apparel collection, 'The Cuddle Collab'. The collection, which will debut on September 21, 2024, marks the retail giant’s first-ever venture into matching fashion for pets and their owners, further solidifying Target’s standing as a trendsetter in accessible, family-friendly products.


The Cuddle Collab features over 180 unique items, ranging from pet apparel to human accessories, home décor, toys, treats, and more. The collection’s inspiration comes from six popular social media pet influencers, affectionately known as 'fur-fluencers.' These online stars have built significant followings and have collaborated closely with Target to create a collection that seamlessly combines style and functionality for pets and their owners.


The Cuddle Collab aims to cater to a broad range of customer preferences, with prices starting as low as $3. Items in the collection include matching accessories for pets and their owners, offering families an opportunity to showcase their bond in coordinated fashion.


To celebrate the launch, Target plans a series of in-store events across nearly 2,000 locations nationwide, offering exclusive giveaways and interactive opportunities for customers to engage with the collection. These events will also feature Target's mascot, Bullseye, alongside other furry friends from The Cuddle Collab collection.


As part of the collection’s rollout, Target will introduce a reality-style social media series titled The Pets of Tarjay. This series will spotlight the beloved 'fur-fluencers' who inspired the collection and showcase their adventures, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the pets that helped shape The Cuddle Collab. Additionally, Target is launching a nationwide advertising campaign centered around Bullseye and the other pets, highlighting key moments from a Target store setting and celebrating the joy of pet ownership.


Customers interested in previewing the full range of The Cuddle Collab can visit Target’s website, Target.com, or the Target app. The digital lookbook provides an interactive way for shoppers to browse and save their favorite items in preparation for the official launch on September 21, 2024. The collection will be available both online and in-store, making it accessible to a broad customer base.
