Good news for Indian passport holders You can now travel to Thailand for up to two months without the need for a visa. This initiative aims to boost tourism, allowing employees, students, and retirees to extend their stays in Thailand.Thailand has included 93 countries in this new policy. The global tourism industry has faced significant challenges due to the COVID 19 pandemic, leading to a decline in tourist arrivals worldwide. In response, Thailand, among other countries, has implemented measures to attract more visitors by relaxing visa regulations.


Thailand's new policy for remote employees, graduate students, and retirees aligns with its efforts to bolster tourism and the economy. Starting next month, travelers from 93 nations can explore Thailand for up to 60 days, immersing themselves in its rich culture and scenic beauty.


Remote workers will benefit from an extended visa validity of five years, with each stay limited to 180 days. Thailand, known for its affordability and allure, welcomed approximately 24.5 million foreign tourists in 2023. With initiatives like this, the Thai government aims to attract even more visitors, targeting 25 to 30 million foreign tourists annually.
