South African Recording Artist, Tyla recently released the music video for her song, “Push 2 Start” on Friday, November 8 via FAX/Epic Records. The 22-year-old provided a sexy, and playful 2000s throwback reminiscent of Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love”, and Rihanna’s “Shut Up and Drive”. Aerin Moreno directed the music video which it took place at the Car Wash in Sunny Los Angeles, California.
“Push 2 Start” is the release on the following of the deluxe version of her debut album, “Tyla”. Tyla collaborated with South African artists such as Tony Duardo, Optimist, and Ez Maestro. The self-titled debut album featured the international success of “Water” which received the rising star a Grammy Award for “Best African Music Performance."
The music video shows Tyla and her backup dancers taking over the car wash, dancing on the freshly sparkly sports cars, getting wet and silky to embrace in some booty shaking while getting painted to represent Tyla’s Indian heritage, “nodding to the Hindu festival of colors, love, and spring,” Holi with spray paint without providing colored powder.
