The music video for “Noid” focused on the different expressions as Tyler rapped about the dark side of Hollywood. Fans followed him as he was finding a way to escape.

Tyler The Creator sampled the 1977 song "Nizakupanga Ngozi" by a Zambian Rock Band, the Ngozi Family which is the track from 45,000 Volts. The lead singer of the Ngozi Family, the late Paul Ngozi expressed the importance of being respectful when you come to my house in his native language, Nyanja. Read the lyrics down below, and understand what he meant in English.

Nyanja

English

Pobwela panyumba panga, uyenela ku nkala ndi ulemu (Paranoid)

Chifukwa, ine sinifuna vokamba, kamba

Vokamba kamba vileta pa mulomo

(Wotangozi, wotangozi)

When you come to my house, you must be hungry and respectful (Paranoid)

Because, I don't need speakers, turtle

The speaker brings the turtle to the mouth

(Leader, leader)

Tyler The Creator drove his paranoia as he expressed in the first verse, “Triple checking if I locked the door/I know every creak that’s in the floor/Motherfucker I’m paranoid.  He is struggling to seek peace, reviewing underneath the bed surrounding himself with a lot of hostility including imaginary creatures.

Tyler the Creator ran away from the world, and feeling annoyed, he got his frustration out of him in the middle of the crossroads.

Tyler The Creator expressed in the second verse that he wanted separate himself from the public eye, “No cameras out, please, I wanna eat in peace/ Don’t wanna take pictures with you niggas or bitches/ Nervous system is shook way before 19.”
