UK based global fashion e tailer Boohoo has recently introduced its 'Boohoo Brands' marketplace, which features a curated selection of fashion, lifestyle, and beauty brands for direct consumer shopping on its website. The marketplace will officially launch on July 31.
Initially, the marketplace will host 150 prominent brands, including Ray Ban, L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Revolution Beauty, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Gucci, Valentino, Off White, Urban Bliss, Hunter, Puma, and Crocs. Additional brands will be added weekly.
Boohoo's marketplace launch follows its 2021 acquisition of the British department store chain Debenhams, whose marketplace was powered by e commerce software Mirakl. This same technology has been utilized to launch the new Boohoo marketplace.
"This initiative demonstrates our commitment to offering our customers a diverse and high quality range of options, all in one convenient location. By collaborating with complementary brands, we are enhancing the shopping experience and ensuring that Boohoo.com continues to be a leading destination for UK consumers," said Boohoo's chief product officer James Blacklock, according to UK media reports.
