Worcester, Massachusetts — Local restaurants are predicting a busy weekend schedule with people arranging for the Super Bowl. Wings Over Worcester reported that they are closely doubled as occupied the Super Bowl Sunday than they are regularly.
General Manager, Ray Jackson, is supposed to review almost 1,600 pounds of wing and 1,000 tenders Sunday. He reported the bird flu and weather have influenced their evaluation, however, he expects that it does not affect their customers.
“What we were paying last year or a few years ago for a chicken compared to what we’re paying now is huge difference,” said Jackson. “We tried to do the best we can to try to deviate that back towards the business, not to the customer. But it’s difficult not to raise prices.”
Jackson reported that honey barbeque, honey mustard, and sweet chili are considered the most flavorful.
