Nigerian singer-songwriter Wizkid returned with his recent “Piece of My Heart” where it features American recording artist, Brent Faiyaz, via Starboy/Sony Music International/RCA Records. It was released on October 19, 2024. Lonewolf arranged official music video in a very creative manner. It takes place in Chateau de Neuville, France. The music video shows the duo spending a luxury lifestyle including a mansion, and private jet party.
The two incredible article were in London, England to collaborate an afro-fusion song, where Wizkid made a sneak peak of the song. “Nothing can tear us apart/ You’ve got a piece of my heart/ Nothing can tear us apart (Nothing in this world)/ You’ve got a piece of my heart (That belongs to you girl),” Faiyaz sang in the part of the chorus.
“Piece of My Heart” is the lead single of Wizkid’s upcoming sixth studio album, “Morayo” which it arrange to be released on November 22, 2024. This is a personal project for this internation global sensation to pay a tribute to his late mother, in his native Yoruba language, “Morayo” which means “I See Joy”.
“Piece of My Heart” published on the following of Wizkid’s performance at the BOF 500 Gala, and participation of the Paris Fashion Week, where Brent Faiyaz and himself appeared the iconic Chanal Show in Paris, France. Wizked hosted the “Ladies Only” party in London to promote new music, provided fans the first snippet of the last track before it was released.
Wizkid previously collaborated with Shenseea, “Work Me Out” on her Sophomore album “Never Gets Late Here” and along with Asake’s track, “MMS” on his third album, “Lungu Boy”. He reached an international success on “Essence” with Nigerian Singer-Songwriter, Tems, where it peaked number nine on the Billboard Hot 100.
