Worcester, Massachusetts — Worcester Restaurants Week keeps local chefs occupied with plenty of demanding hungry customers taking advantage of the deals. At La Cucina Italiana, head chef, Manny Chima worked on a late Wednesday morning bouncing around from prep work to the hot oven during the rush hour during lunch.
Chima reported that he had a lot of experience in the restaurant industry during his 30-year career so far.
“I’ve worked a lot of restaurants, I come from New York, I worked in five, six restaurants there,” said Chima. “Very busy restaurants, we had very busy nights.”
Chima’s most popular dishes include chicken piccata, chicken parmesan, and a wide range of pasta cuisine. La Cucina Italiana concentrates on a genuine Italian dining experience with a history that would travel that began over 60 years ago.
Chima has no problem working on a busy day due to his dedication to his hard work where he puts a lot of effort, and he is always delightful in what he cooks.
“I like doing Italian food, customers come in and say ‘I love this food’ and everything like that,” said Chima. “It’s homemade recipes.”
