The 2025 WWE Royal Rumble delivered an electrifying night of action, drama, and historic moments. With both the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches featuring intense showdowns and record-setting performances, this year’s event will be remembered for its surprises and defining moments. Fans witnessed incredible feats of endurance, shocking eliminations, and two superstars earning their ticket to the main event of WrestleMania.

In the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, Jey Uso emerged as the ultimate winner, outlasting 29 other superstars to secure his place at WrestleMania. Entering at number 20, Jey showcased resilience and strategic prowess, eliminating top contenders like John Cena and Sami Zayn. Roman Reigns, a dominant force in the match, secured four eliminations, including fan-favorite Bron Breakker, before being taken out by CM Punk. The match also saw Jacob Fatu making a massive impact with four eliminations before Braun Strowman eliminated him.

Penta, entering at number two, demonstrated incredible stamina, lasting over 42 minutes, while Rey Mysterio also put on a strong showing, surviving for more than 24 minutes before being eliminated by Jacob Fatu.

The surprise entrant of the night came in the form of internet personality IShowSpeed, who replaced Akira Tozawa at the last moment. Though he was eliminated in under a minute, his involvement added an unexpected twist. Logan Paul and CM Punk also had notable performances, but it was ultimately Jey Uso who stood tall, making history with his career-defining victory.

The Women’s Royal Rumble Match was equally thrilling, with Charlotte Flair claiming victory in a dominant display of skill and experience. Entering at number 27, Flair eliminated top competitors, including Roxanne Perez, Michin, Piper Niven, and Nia Jax, to win the match and cement her status as one of the greatest superstars in WWE history. Roxanne Perez, who entered at number three, delivered an outstanding performance, lasting 1 hour and 7 minutes—making her the iron woman of the match. Liv Morgan also put on a marathon performance, lasting just over 67 minutes before being eliminated by Nia Jax.

Nia Jax made a massive impact in the Women’s Royal Rumble, securing eight eliminations, including Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Trish Stratus, before ultimately being thrown over the top rope by Charlotte Flair. Bayley and IYO SKY also had strong showings, lasting 46 and 66 minutes respectively, while Giulia made an impressive debut, eliminating Jordynne Grace before being eliminated by Roxanne Perez.

Surprises and unexpected eliminations defined the night, with legends like Trish Stratus making an appearance and competitors such as Maxxine Dupri and Ivy Nile making their presence felt. The intensity of the Women’s Royal Rumble highlighted the evolution of the division, as emerging stars and established legends battled for the coveted WrestleMania opportunity.

With Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair now headed to WrestleMania, the road to WWE’s biggest stage is officially set. Their victories at the Royal Rumble cement their places in championship contention, setting the stage for an epic showdown at WrestleMania. The 2025 Royal Rumble once again proved why it remains one of the most thrilling events in sports entertainment, delivering unforgettable moments and setting the course for WWE’s biggest stars.
