Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – The recent CBS News polling represents a wide range of young voters in Pennsylvania under 30 who would participate in voting in November on Election Day.
According to the recent CBS News Poll, if the Presidential Election were postponed last week, 59% would vote for Vice President Kamala Harris, contrasted to 41% for Former President Donald Trump.
"We are the future," DaJaun Wortham reported, a current student at Community College of Philadelphia. "Young people are the future."
On September 17, Kamala arrived at the Community of Philadelphia to interact with young voters.
"It really emphasizes the importance of student engagement," Makayla Myers, of DNC College Democrats of America, reported. "I think it emphasizes the priorities of the current administration and hopefully the future administration to have students a part of the political process."
We are two months away from Election Day, for both Harris and Trump to constantly concentrate on Pennsylvania as a battleground state.
"I feel like there is an economic crunch being felt by young people," Evan Bochetto reported, an ambassador for Philadelphia Young Republicans.
Bochetto explained to young voters that he expressed the consideration with increasing costs and economic difficulties. Bochetts thinks that Trump is most assured to address this situation in the challenge of young participants.
"Talking about the economy, talking about housing pricing, food pricing, energy pricing," Bochetto reported.
Wortham, a first-time voter, has a sense of good judgment that Harris is the greatest candidate because of advocating young voters.
"(She is) someone who is going to be able to fight for us; someone that's going to care," Wortham stated.
Bochetto expressed he believes that young voters switch off.
"Historically, young voters do not turn out like older generations do," Bochetto reported. "Whether you're voting for the Democrat ticket or the Republican ticket — and I would hope you vote for Republican — just go out and vote."
