The Jiading District's 15 minute life circle has gained a new cultural addition. A new health culture center has opened along the picturesque Yuanxiang Lake, enhancing the "Yuanxiang Cultural Circle." This circle, with Yuanxiang Lake Park at its core, is surrounded by ten architectural masterpieces, including the Poly Theater, Jiading Library, Jiangnan Bookstore, Citizen's Cultural Stations, and other leisure and cultural venues.
The 515 square meter Johnson Health Culture Center offers an ideal leisure destination for residents, integrating health culture exchange, healthy catering, and health science and technology display functions. The center's design concept, "The Movement of the Arc," refers to the unique arc shaped building among the ten architectural pieces by Yuanxiang Lake, with "Movement" signifying sports.
The center features twelve functional areas such as an experience pavilion, a culture corridor, a health energy station, and a J terrace. It also houses various fitness facilities, including treadmills, bicycles, and stair climbing machines, providing ample opportunities for fitness activities. Additionally, the center includes dining areas serving healthy light meals, regular health science lectures, and spaces for activities like yoga and meditation.
The central arc atrium connects the center intimately with nature, offering views of the outdoor giant screen at the constellation plaza and a waterside platform for quiet reflection. From an aerial perspective, the center's "J" shaped outline symbolizes the infinite extension of vitality and health. The roof of the J shaped terrace serves as a multifunctional social platform, offering panoramic views of Yuanxiang Lake.
The center promotes sports and cultural exchanges, advocates a positive and healthy lifestyle, and hosts various sports and culture themed events as part of the overall construction plan for Yuanxiang Lake. The district government describes the cultural circle as the most brilliant "pearl necklace" of Yuanxiang Lake. The cycling or strolling trail around the lake connects urban service spaces, urban ecological parks, contemporary architectural miniatures, and new sports space zones, enhancing the experiential functions of public culture, art, leisure, recreation, and comprehensive public services.
