The ongoing saga of the Bloodline in WWE has reached new heights of drama and intensity in 2024. Following Roman Reigns’ monumental loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, the Bloodline faction splintered, leading to a civil war that has captivated wrestling fans worldwide. Solo Sikoa, in Reigns’ absence, established his own faction, challenging the original Bloodline. With each side securing a victory in their clashes, the rivalry has taken center stage in WWE programming. Now, the family feud has drawn in another member of the legendary Samoan dynasty, Zilla Fatu, son of WWE icon Umaga.

In a recent interview on Busted Open Radio, Zilla Fatu broke his silence on the turmoil within the Bloodline and declared his allegiance to Roman Reigns’ Original Bloodline faction. Fatu, who has yet to make his WWE debut, expressed his loyalty to Reigns and his faction, citing both personal connections and long-standing grievances with Solo Sikoa.

“I’m gonna have to go with Team OTC [Original Bloodline]. Roman Reigns. Right now, everybody knows me and Jacob teamed up on the indies before he got signed. Ever since Jacob got signed, he’s been acting crazy. That’s not the Jacob I know. Then you have Solo—I’ve been beefing with him since I was eight years old. I gave him his first Rock Bottom in the pool at his dad’s house. For him to take my dad’s move, I don’t like that. I’m gonna help Roman Reigns. Whatever he needs, I’m there,” said Fatu, referencing his history with his cousins.

This declaration comes at a pivotal time for the Bloodline storyline. At Survivor Series: WarGames, Roman Reigns and his faction faced off against Solo Sikoa’s renegade group in a brutal and chaotic match. Reigns, showing his tactical brilliance, aligned with CM Punk, while Sami Zayn solidified his role as the Honorary Uce. Solo Sikoa, determined to assert dominance, found an ally in Bronson Reed. The high-stakes match delivered shocking moments and left multiple wrestlers sidelined due to injuries sustained in the melee. Ultimately, it was Reigns’ faction, bolstered by CM Punk’s involvement, that emerged victorious, reaffirming their dominance amid the family feud.

Zilla Fatu’s public support for the Original Bloodline not only adds another layer of intrigue to the storyline but also highlights the deep familial ties and tensions within the Anoa’i wrestling dynasty. His comments about Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu provide a glimpse into personal rivalries that could translate into compelling future storylines in WWE.

The Bloodline saga remains one of WWE’s most captivating narratives, blending familial loyalty, betrayal, and high-stakes competition. With Zilla Fatu potentially entering the fray and alliances continuing to shift, fans can expect the drama to escalate further. WWE’s ability to weave real-life connections into its storytelling ensures that the Bloodline storyline will remain a cornerstone of its programming, keeping audiences engaged and invested. As the Samoan dynasty’s legacy unfolds, the battle for supremacy within the Bloodline promises to define the next chapter of WWE history.
